Jacob, founder of Eden Codeworks

About

Hi, I'm Jacob.

Owner & founder of Eden Codeworks — and the person who will actually build your project.

The story

The engineer behind the studio

Eden Codeworks is a one-man studio, and that's on purpose. When you hire us, you don't get an account manager, a handoff chain, or a junior dev learning on your budget — you get me, start to finish.

I come from a technical background in WiFi and network engineering, where I built internal platforms that engineering departments rely on to track testing, manage bugs, and train new hires. Alongside that I've spent years deep in scripting, automation, and AI — and somewhere along the way I realized the tools I loved building for engineers could change the game for small businesses too.

So I started Eden Codeworks: a studio that brings enterprise-grade engineering to businesses that could never justify an enterprise budget. Websites that owners update themselves. Apps that work offline in a church basement. Internal tools that replace the spreadsheet everyone's afraid to touch. Even the occasional hardware project when the job calls for it.

The same care shows up in everything I ship — including the tools I've built for my own church and community. If it carries the Eden Codeworks name, it was built like I'll be the one maintaining it for years. Because I will be.

Working together

What it's like to work with me

  • You talk to the builder

Every call, email, and decision goes through the person writing your code. Nothing gets lost in translation.

  • Honest scoping

If your idea doesn't need custom software, I'll tell you — and point you at what it does need. I'd rather earn your trust than your invoice.

  • Engineered to last

Modern stacks, real databases, clean code, documented decisions. Your product won't collapse the day after launch.

  • Here after launch

Software is a living thing. I stick around for updates, fixes, and the next idea — that's the whole point of a studio.

Don't take my word for it

Every project in our portfolio is something I designed and built personally — from a dog groomer's first website to a firmware platform used by a real engineering department.
